Geeky Beginnings...

My first computer was the Commodore 64 in 1982. I did not have a USB flash drive to store my files, instead I had the Datasette, which stored files on an old-school cassette tape. I wrote the counter number each time I saved a piece of data on my TDK tape and manually backed it up a couple more inches to not overwrite the end data. I used BASIC programming from the READY prompt to create fun things on my 19inch TV set as an output monitor for the C64. 

 

Evolved with Technology...

Things have quickly changed since then. Technology completely surrounds our lives now. It has advanced so fast and I was always excited to keep up with the software side of technology. I owned my first Apple Mac LCIII in 1993 (25mhz processor, 80MB HD and 4MB RAM) to create graphic design projects and do my college term papers. I then assembled my first i386PC tower while in college and got a chance to develop my first corporate website for an education and training center in Santa Clara, CA. in 1995. It was the beginnings of HTML coded websites.

 

Mastering the Web...

I conducted training sessions with the training center and did consulting for large defense and electronic firms in the silicon valley. With the advancements of internet connectivity I was able to move back to my hometown as a webmaster to continue my consulting with my corporate contacts in the South Bay. A sampling of my work includes: assisting fashion jewelers market their products, now a worldwide operation; created image marketing and promotion for large and small tech and semiconductor companies. I managed corporate internet and intranet sites adhering to corporate design standards and web development strategies. I maintain a few websites with 1-2 day update turnarounds.

Dynamic and Fun Technical Trainer...

I have taught in private and public post-secondary colleges: web development, e-commerce, internet curriculum development(mobile/web application development), graphic design, business and MS Office applications. I currently hold certifications as a Master Certified Internet Webmaster(MCIWD), iNET+, and Microsoft Office Specialst(MOS). I am ready to assist you in your technology training needs.
